Our wedding is next week and we are very excited. We still have a few details to wrap up but we are just about ready to celebrate with you in Las Vegas. Our hotel block is closed now and we’re confident that you are going to enjoy your accommodation. As you put the finishing touches on your travel plans please let us know if we can help you in any way.

We will be arriving at The Cosmopolitan on Wednesday, April 13^th (Cassie’s birthday!) and will return to San Francisco on Monday, April 18^th. If you are in town before Friday or Saturday be sure to get in touch. Matt and Cassie will be at the rehearsal dinner on Friday night but will return to the Cosmopolitan by around 10:30-11:00 and we will head to a bar somewhere there to have a drink with our arriving guests. We will coordinate that on the day.

We are very excited to see you and we are thrilled that you will be a part of our big day. We’ll see you in Vegas!

We’re very sorry to say that this website was hacked yesterday, and replaced with a flashing message from the hacker boasting about what they had done. We’ve been told it also may have tried to attack visitors by trying to inject a virus into their computer.

We’re very sorry about this, and as soon as we found out, we contacted the hosting company and got them to fix it. I was up until midnight with the support tech, and we were able to get the website back to the default design. I’m annoyed and upset about this, because if you have received an invitation and come here, you were supposed to see a design which matched the invitation! The proper design will be back up as soon as I can fix it.

I hope nobody’s computers were infected or otherwise damaged. It’s a good reminder to make sure your computer’s antivirus and malware protection software is up to date, especially if you have a computer running Windows, which is particularly susceptible. Linux and Apple OSX users are safer (but not invulnerable).

Remember, surfing the web without protection software is like driving without brakes!

How is it January already!?! Our wedding is three months away and there are lots of things yet to do. It’s been a really fun season of planning and we are enjoying the opportunity to think about some of the details that we hope will make our wedding day special.

Hotels. Hotels. All I can think about is hotels. My amazing friend (she’s more like a sister, actually) Renee Tao is helping me find the best deal for hotel rooms for the wedding. I want to offer a good rate at a decent place. I want it to be a fun place with a casino and plenty of restaurants. I know most of our guests will only be in town for a day or two but Matt and I will be there for a week so we have to think about that too. Basically, I’ll do the best I can to offer a good price and if it’s still too much let me know and I can point you towards some other less costly hotel options.

If you are planning to arrive before the weekend please let us know as soon as you can as that affects the price the hotel will quote us. The more weekday rooms we can rent the lower the cost for everyone. More as it happens!
